I had the honor of being a teacher on Dick´s staff at GMS for eight years. He was the calming, reassuring voice I so needed as I began my teaching career. He was always kind, patient and sincere. He had a servant´s heart. Dick can truly say,

I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race
I have kept the faith

2 Timothy 4:7

I know the Lord treasures you as we did, Dick, and has led you with tenderness into His presence. Peace be with you, dear friend.

Richard was a kind and loving man. He loved spending time with his family, community, and he loved golf. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He was such a joy to be around and offered sage advice. I will miss him dearly. Thinking of the family during this very difficult time.
