Francis Walter Obituary
He was born January 9, 1927 in Coldwater, the son of Frank and Barbara (Priborsky) Walter. He graduated from Coldwater High School.
Fran was employed at the Anderson and Olmstead Dairies and later ran his own rural milk truck routes, delivering to M&R in Sturgis. He owned the Athens Garage and then began a career in over- the- road trucking for Darling (Keyline) Freight in Southwest Michigan.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Union City United Methodist Church where a memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Andy Baek officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Constantine Township Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan, 2500 Watkins Rd., Battle Creek, MI 49015.
The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home, Battle Creek.
