Kenneth Swick Obituary
COLDWATER - Kenneth L. Swick, 88, passed away peacefully on August 31. Ken was born on December 22, 1927 in Lima to Carl and Ida (Shade) Swick. He was a Navy Veteran who served during WW II.
Ken was an avid fisherman who spent his summers at beautiful Coldwater Lake in Michigan where he caught his biggest catch - a 40" 17lb Northern Pike. His picture with the Pike was proudly featured in the Coldwater Daily Reporter.
Ken was a Salesman of distinction for over 30 years with Commercial Lithograph of Lima. After his retirement, he worked part time at Greto Packaging Products, also located in Lima.
In addition to fishing, Ken could often be found on a golf course both in Michigan and at his winter home in Englewood, Florida.
Ken is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lois (English). Ken and Lois were the proud parents of four sons Greg (Marilyn), Gary (Sue), Terry (Debbie) and Thomas (Cathy). They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held by the family.

Sorry for your loss. Ken was my favorite 'adult' as a youngster. Taking us to Dirty Dan's for shakes, revving his car engine to see how Lois would react, he always seemed happy to me. And even as a kid, you could tell he loved Lois as it seemed every time I turned around, he was hugging her. I hope the Swicks can revel in the wonderful memories he gave you guys.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Ken was my favorite 'adult' when we were kids. Taking us to Dirty Dan's for ice cream, always joking around, revving his car engine much to Lois's chagrin. And, even as a little guy I could see the love between those two. Best to all the Swicks.
