Bill Ailey Obituary

Rev. Bill R. Ailey Rev. Bill R. Ailey, age 72, of Maryville, went home to meet Jesus on May 20, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He pastored numerous churches in the area, and he loved serving the Lord. He liked spending time at Crest Bowling Lanes. He was preceded in death by his father, George Ailey; brother, Don Ailey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hayes and Lucy Settlemyre.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Settlemyer Ailey, they would have celebrated their 50th Anniversary in July; son, Rev. Brian (Amanda) Ailey, Sr.; special grandson and the light of his life, Brian "Bubba" Ailey, Jr.; mother, Katie Ailey; brothers-in-law, Johnny (Peggy) Settlemyre, Tommy (Lisa) Settlemyre; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 22nd at Laurel Bank Baptist Church, a service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Brian Ailey (his son) officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the cemetery.
