Kevin Richard Cramer, age 49, of Maryville; On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, Kevin fought his last battle on this earth and finished it in the presence of His savior, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his best friend and wife, Tammy Cramer, his parents, Richard and Linda Cramer, his brother and brother-in-law Todd Cramer and Ernie Hoskins, his step-son, Jason Dial, his step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Sarah Donovan and Will, and his beloved grandkids, Jeremy, Baylor, Elijah, Neyland, Juliana, and Tripp, along with many extended family members and life-long friends. Kevin dedicated many years working for the family business. He was a deacon at First Baptist Alcoa where he was a very active member, serving through the years in the music ministry, kids ministry, small-group ministry and most recently, the hot meal ministry. But no matter what else he was doing, there was never any doubt that his family was his heart. He was a devoted son, a loving husband, a faithful mentor, and the absolute best Papa ever. Kevin was unlike any other person. To know him, even in small part, was to love him immensely. He was always ready with a smile, a laugh, a helping hand, and an open heart. His personality was usually the only thing in the room bigger than his imposing frame. The void left in his earthly absence feels bigger even than his presence, and that is saying something. But those of us who knew him best also know that although our pain is huge and our loss is real, it is not eternal. Kevin is now in the presence of the One who loved him first, loves him most, and one day, we will see him again - see that beautiful, big smile, hear that booming voice, and feel that one-of-a-kind bear hug that could heal any emotional wound you might have had. He will be missed every day for the rest of the lives of those of us who loved him. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00pm on Monday, April 18, 2022, at Smith Funeral Home. A Celebration of Kevin's life will be hold at 7:00pm with Rev. Ryan Roach officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Alcoa Longer Table Food Ministry, 819 Gilbert St, Alcoa, TN 37701.
