Sammy Whaley Obituary

Sammy Zenith ' ' Whaley Sammy Zenith Whaley, age 76 of Maryville, formerly of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. and was faithful to Primitive Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: Parents- Zenith and Maude (Loveday) Whaley, wife - Mary Elizabeth (Davis), brothers Ray, Roy and Billy Whaley, and brother-in-law - Ben King.

Survivors include his Son: Sammy Steven Whaley and fiancee Donna Boyd; Daughter and son-in-law: Andrea and Tim Daust; Grandchildren: Jessica Whaley, Daniel Daust, Andrew Daust (Brittany), Tim Daust, Jr. (Katie), Christina Griffith (Bobby) Michelle Babin (Christopher); Great- grandchildren: Ava Daust, Liam Daust, Danielle Baker (Gavin), Branden Babin, and Christian Babin; Sisters: Blanche Hartsell (Lonnie), Carolyn King, and Janie Edwards (Robert); Sister-in-laws: Brenda Whaley, Glenda Oliver; Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Walnut Grove Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. James "Tater" Wells and Elder Reece Maggard officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com.
