Pawcatuck - Alan Carl Davis, 65, formally of Pawcatuck and Stonington, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at the CT Hospice Center in Branford. His passing was the result of injuries sustained in an accident. Alan was born Nov. 14, 1960, in New London, to Avalon and Remmie Davis Sr.

Alan lived his entire life in the Mystic Stonington area. He attended Stonington High School and worked at New England Cycle Works in Groton for most of his adult life.

Alan's parents predeceased him. In addition, he is survived by his brothers, Remmie Davis Jr. (Sandy) and Bert Davis (Dawn); two nieces; and a nephew. He also leaves many friends and co-workers in the area.

A celebration of Alan's life will be held later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CT Hospice in Alan's memory.

My condolences for Alans family. Alan was a great guy and he used to pick up my scooter for service where he worked and used to see him around town and in the grocery store. He was a great guy. RIP Alan

Wow, SOOOO sorry to hear about his passing!! I just found out yesterday..I have many photos + Great memories with him. 4 wheeling, jet skiing or just hanging out..he helped me when I moved to Florida, so I wouldn't have to drive alone. Prior to my moving, we hung out constantly. Me ,T.J, Barry Rosen+ him had so much fun!! After that, every time I came home I knew where to find him. I'd either stop by N.E Cycle Works or the German Club + we'd hook up. Still have a brass John Deere Keychain I use to this day + shirts from his work. He will be sadly missed, but sure do have alot of great memories
