Anne Scheibner Obituary
She had been married to the late Henry W. Scheibner who died in 2007.
A reception in her honor will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the First Congregational Church, 2 Ferry Rd, Old Lyme, followed at 2:30 p.m. Saturday by a funeral service at St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 82 Shore Road, Rt. 156 in Old Lyme.
Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St. in New London is assisting her family with the arrangements.
Her complete obituary will be published in Sunday's edition of The Day.

Dear Anne , Catharine , Carrie and Family,
Anne was an extraordinarily accomplished woman, with grace, intelligence, and dignity. We always enjoyed her visits to our shop when she was able, and she became one of our favorite shop friends.

Dear Anne and Catharine,
I fondly remember your wonderful mother so very well and with what beautiful grace and intelligence she faced her life. She welcomed me and my husband enthusiastically when we moved to Stonington in 1973 and we enjoined a lasting friendship.
