Arthur Ziegler Obituary
In addition to his parents and his beloved wife Stacie of 25 years, survivors include his three loving children, Arthur Peter Ziegler IV, Nancie Elizabeth Ziegler and Emily Grace Ziegler; a brother, Jeffrey Scott Ziegler; and five nieces and nephews, Alexis, Madison and Gabriella Ziegler and Paul and Jacob Gilleo; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by an infant brother, Arthur Peter Ziegler II.
A walk-through visitation will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will be private. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building.

My sincerest condolences to the Ziegler family. I had the privilege of having my Ziegler as my teacher during my time at Bassick from 2006-2010. He was and will forever be one of my favorite teachers. Not only was he dedicated to his job but dedicated to seeing his students succeed. He pushed us to strive for greatness. His compassion and understanding helped reach all his students. Even those who weren't his students, loved him. He was funny, kind, yet stern when it was time to work. I'm very thankful to have had a teacher like him. He helped me realize that it was ok to be proud of my academic achievements. Mr. Ziegler and other teachers pushed me to embrace myself and become the valedictorian of my class. He didn't give up on me and constantly pushed me. May he rest in peace.

I worked with Mr. Ziegler for many years when he was an administrator at Central High. He was always an advocate for the students, especially the special needs students. He was a hard working individual that rarely, if ever, took a day off! I wish the family peace at this time.

What a sad day for everyone who was touched by Pete. I knew Pete, through my daughter, Teri, when they attended Montville High School. He was a fun loving, really great guy.
