I cannot believe I'm sending words of empathy and condolences to someone I just conversed with and made plans with for Carnival in St. Marteen. Mualana you will so be missed. I will always remember the cute kid growing up on Franklin St. and the Amazing Queen you truly became. Through all that was great and through all that was painful you always always wore a smile. I'm sure you learned that from your Mama Ms. Savinia. There is not enough hugs or words I can ever say to your sons to take away the hurt of being without you, but I promise I will try. Love you girl . Stay fly

I still cant believe that Mookie is gone. Its been a week and I just didnt know what to say. We havent seen each other for some time now and when she lived in Hartford I have visited her and we went to concerts up there. We had some good and fun memories when we were in high school ( Grasso Tech). I moved to Florida and I came back two years ago then a year ago I ran into her at a dentist office in New London and we were like OMG and she took my number as her son was getting called to go in I thought we were going to hang out again but we were just too busy with work and I was waiting on her to hit me up since. Mookie I know you in a better place because you were such a great person has the biggest smile I know and big heart. I will miss you!

Asia and I were closed almost like sisters. We grew up together on Michael Rd in New London. I always remember her with full of life and her love for her friends and family. She opened her arms with love to anyone who was willing to receive it. I know Asia is resting with the angels. To Savania and family you are in my prayers. RIP my beautiful cousin I will miss you always. Love Ottavia

Asia, I am happy to have met you girl you were a true "Hustler" in a positive way. Smart, funny and blessed with bringing old to new again. Girl, I will remember you every time I go into my basement. I was so stressed about buying new items to decorate my basement and you said "Let me come and see your basement" and I remember you saying "Girrrrrrrrrrrl you better get on Craigslist and that I did and now my basement looks like a million bucks because of you:) Get ready because Asia it coming to Heaven to decorate

Asia was the HOMIE! One of the greats, for real. My dear friend, always encouraging me with her ever-positive, can-do spirit! I always joked that i wanted to be just like her when i grew up, lol. It's sto ironic that the one who lived her ultimate life was taken so prematurely and suddenly. She was on a mission & her grind always--a real one taken from us too soon, and its still so raw, shocking & unfair. The utmost prayers and condolences going out to her family. ❤
