Blanche Esannason Obituary
She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., daughter of the late Dorothy Esannason, but lovingly raised by her parents, the late William and Rosebud Ceaser.
Blanche was a longtime, active member of Shiloh Baptist Church in New London. She was a resident of both Old Saybrook and Ledyard.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Springer of Meriden; three grandchildren, Candice White of Groton, Siobhan Springer (Arthur Worrell) of Meriden, and Caden Witt of Washington, D.C.; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Miller of Springfield, Mass.; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1 Garvin St., New London. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Old Saybrook. Relatives and friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
