Born on the rolling wheat fields of Nebraska at rest on the shore

of the majestic Atlantic. Through

his short life a proud and noble man. He was the eldest of four

brothers, I being the middle brother was the one that always had

to tag along, whether it be on a

fishing expedition or a trapline, he always took me along without

considering it a burden. I have

many fine memories that will always

be cherished. He gave me a first

tattoo that i still carry, (mother

had a fit) I looked up too and admired him and followed his footsteps into the Navy during a

trying time in our country's history. Though I only served for

one enlistment he made it a decorated distinguished career. He

is survived by precious family and

friends and will be greatly missed

but forever remembered.

A Loyal Friend, an Older Brother, a "'Til Death Do Us Part" Husband To a Wife Who Stood By His Side, Encouraged His Hopes, Eased His Pain, and Helped Him Cross Over With Love, Comfort and Dignity... Even though Her Heart Ached for Him to Stay...A Father to Three Wonderful Daughters who Thought Everybody's Dad Skateboarded with them When They Came Home From Sea...a Wise Grandfather who Taught those children to Respect and Embrace the Rythmns of Nature. He was a True Sailor's Sailor. His Fierce and Unwavering Belief in His Country Made A Difference. This is Brian E. Burger. I am Proud to have known him. I will miss him dearly.

I work with Tracy in the Toddler classroom. I lost my father when I was 16 years old, so I understood where she was coming from during this difficult time.We had many heart felt conversations where I lent a listening ear and shared my own exprerience with her. I want to express my prayers and condolences to the Burger family. God Bless you all and may he now be at Peace.
