She was born on Oct. 24, 1932, in Houlton, Maine.
Mrs. Beery enjoyed playing tennis. She had a passion for cooking and entertaining, but most of all she spent time loving her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Leonore A. Davis and Holly B. Johnson, both of Old Lyme and Kimberly M. Aroh, of Glastonbury; her brother, James Wise, of Planfield; her sister, Frances Durivage, of Stevensville, Md.; and her grandchildren, Heather, Adam, Devon, Scott, Julia, Calvin and Ryan.
She was predeceased by her mother, Doris Wise.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Lane, Old Lyme.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. Please accept my deepest condolences as you grieve the loss of your Mom. I know the pain you must be feeling. Take some comfort in knowing that she will always be a part of you.
