Thinking of you and your family as your celebrate your mom's life and memories. I have very fond memories of our parents(Bruce & Irene) together at church and other events while growing up in Gales Ferry. Your parents were so generous in spirit and friendship to so many.

We were so sorry to hear of Caroline's passing, my Mom (Gaida Vickerman) wanted me to express how special a person Caroline was, and how she was like a mentor to her.
They met shortly after we arrived in Connecticut. My sister, Milda, and Elizabeth were in the same class.
Caroline helped my Mom navigate Gales Ferry, and she also became involved in being a Girl Scout leader with my Mom.
Mom always felt the toughest part about being a leader was that you had to be careful about nominating or picking your own child. She discussed this dilemma with Caroline, who said.. "it is simple, you will pick my child and I will pick your child".
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this time.
