Charles Vaill Obituary
Born in Torrington, the son of Roger B. and Flora M. (Neff) Vaill, and was the loving husband of Joan Vaill for 53 years until her passing in 2013.
Charlie was well known in the community having owned Vaill Construction working alongside his two sons, Charlie Jr. and Roger. He also owned C & J Discount Liquor which he, Joan, and their daughter Lisa ran for many years.
Charlie treasured spending time with his family and loved being "Grandpa" to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son Roger B. Vaill and wife Jean; daughter Lisa Perrone; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and brother Gary Vaill.
In addition to his wife Joan he was predeceased by his son Charles E. "Charlie" Vaill Jr. and son-in-law Richard Perrone.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, April 25, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. Burial will follow at a Comstock Cemetery.

Many homeowners in Waterford and area towns owe Charlie a debt of gratitude for the countless water & sewer hook-ups he and his sons performed. He was sincere, honest and exhibited a keen work ethic. Always more than fair in pricing his jobs, literally, thousands of people were the beneficiaries of his services. He will be missed.
