Dear Kenny, I was shocked and saddened to read about Dale’s passing. She was such a warm and giving person. I can’t imagine how hard this must be for you and your entire family. I know your strong faith will help you through this difficult time, but my thoughts and prayers are with you anyway, my friend.

Cousin Erin- I love you honey. Your Mom is a beautiful soul, a one-of-a-kind Mom, and she loved her family with everything she had. Keep your head up and heart filled with good memories. Remember that she is watching always, and you can pass down all the goodness to your girls so she in fact lives on!
Love, Wendy, Kevin & Gabby Fontaine ❤

Dear Ken and the entire circle of Dale’s family ‘n’ friends,

Ken...was blown away seein’ this...I am so sorry brother; as you surely remember, our relationship began here at “The Boat” through many years of Tech Pubs, then interacting roles and disciplines, and y’all’s commitment to Troop Support, always with warm, friendly greetings and loving hugs and smiles from Dale whenever we met. She’s just that kinda presence we’ll be unable to not miss!

Understanding the hole left behind, regardless the inevitability or forewarning, pray this helps some wee bit...to allow...enablethe grief...which will come...will be painfully necessary...but is also a measure of the loving impact this very special lady had on everyone! So truly sorry to hear about your wife, mother, aunt, friend. At least now she’s at peace with our Lord definitely keepin’ y’all in my prayers!

When my mother died, even after a years-long battle with cancer, I was shattered by the lossinconsolableshe was my mentor! I like to think that I got my character from my father, but my mind and its capacity from m’dear sainted mother!!! BUT, "If your faith assures you she's in heaven, then what are the tears all about?!?" I hold eternity dearly close...a cherished, hard-won prize...but, in the interim, that answer lies below.

SELFISH TEARS
(I Eulogize My Beloved Mother - March, 1989)

Today we cry...must admit they're selfish tears.
You see...our faith assures your journey's done.
But it's not for you we mourn, at all, my dear;
It's for those of us you've left behind...alone!!!

We share your joy...share your happiness at rest,
Your painful fears now for forever stilled.
You've fought the good fight, passed the final test,
But you've left behind a hole that can't be filled!!!

So, until we each rejoin you some someday,
And, while your memory buoys us through those years,
We'll miss you...but continue on our way,
And, from time to time, we'll cry our selfish tears!!!

My loving, sincerest condolences and prayers,

John Fabrizio

A genuine God & family loving woman. Her smile was infectious along with her voice and music abilities. She shared with me that she JUST LOVED being a Mom was her reply right after our 1st was born when I asked her “how she did it?” Her cakes made me the buttercream snob I am today! What couldn’t she do! Love you my Aunt Dale and family. She continues thru all of you.❤ Please accept our deepest sympathies. Sincerely, Stephen, Stephanie, Keely, Dominic & Aubree Holcombe
