David Furtado Obituary
Born in Norwich Feb. 27, 1962, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jessica (Townson) Furtado. David grew up in Norwich and was a graduate of Norwich Free Academy. He last worked in the environmental services department at Mohegan Sun Casino.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Rd., Uncasville. Burial will be at a later date.

hey cuz i was so shocked and heart broken when shirley called me this morning and told me the news, at least you dont have to suffer anymore. know this, i will always love you and always will. say hi to aunt jess and uncle joe when you get there. i still remember the days when our families got together every year for thanksgiving and your mom made plum pudding, i still taste it to this day, she made it for dessert. I went to Greenville School with David. Just in the lsat two years we started talking on Facebook. He remembered me and I will never forget him. So sorry for your lose. What a great picture of him. He looks exactly the same but just a bit older. Rest in pease my friend

I'm so sorry for your loss. I grew up with David and had so many good times with him especially driving around in his jeep. He was such a funny and great guy.
