Dennis Feeney Obituary
He grew up in Quaker Hill, attending local Waterford schools.
He enjoyed fishing and followed NASCAR racing. He loved rock music, enjoying his friends in the local band, The Reducers, and was a huge fan of U2.
Dennis spent many years in Boynton Beach, Fla., and Hixson, Tenn., respectively, where he was employed in maintenance for several retirement complexes. In 2020, he returned to Connecticut to be near family and was employed be a uniform company in Norwich.
Dennis is survived by his stepmother Honore Feeney of Groton; his sister Mary Feeney of Oakdale; brother Michael Feeney of Bellingham, Wash.; and brother John Feeney Jr. of Jewett City; and stepbrother Aaron Shoemaker of Pawcatuck. He also leaves behind his niece Brandy Williams; and nephews, Dustyn Larsen and Edwin Gibbons. Dennis was predeceased by his father John; mother Nancy; and sister Cynthia (Feeney) Taylor.
Family and friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral home service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich, New London Tpke., Uncasville.
