My siblings and I know Ed because he and our Mother are residents of Fairview. He kindly looked after our Mom, always greeted us kindly and with an update, and was just the nicest, kindest, most thoughtful man. I was shocked to discover he has passed. I know such a wonderful person is with God now, and his loved ones who have gone before.

We were very sad to learn of Ed's passing. We knew him well in the L&M days, and remember his delicious contributions to the old bake sales. We loved bumping into him from time to time; he was always in good spirits. We know he will be sadly missed. With sympathy and prayers.

Eddy,
What a great time we had growing up on the same street; roller skating, eating popcorn at his mother's house & later on when he made his famous crepes. His gentleness & friendship lasted a lifetime to all who stayed close with him. He will be greatly missed. Peace be yours now Eddy.

To Craig and Tommy,

I am so sorry for your loss.

Ed was a wonderful host and a fabulous cook. I enjoyed his hospitality. He was devoted to God and his church. He was a kind and gracious soul. (He also had a devilish side. :-) )

He and his beloved little dog, Felicia, were quite a team when I knew them. I'll always remember (and still have some of them) the cards he would send me signed "Love, Eddy and Felicia."

He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Love,
Sheila
