Enrique Piñeiro Obituary

New London - Enrique Morales Piñeiro, 57, of 34 West Pleasant St., died on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.

On Nov. 27, 1950 he was born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, the son of Enrique Morales Colon and Ana Luisa Piñeiro.

He was married to Juana E. Morales on March 3, 1972 in Gurabo, Puerto Rico.

Enrique was passionate about music, enjoyed auto racing, and was a long time member of the Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana in New London. He was a loving husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Alex, Glenda, Ricky and Bibi; eight grandchildren; his siblings, Gloria, Lalo, Ely, Jorge and Lourdes; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana, 35 Redden Ave., New London.

The Woyasz & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Recuerdos de mi tio y yo ; siempre recordare los momentos que pase desde mi nines hasta mi adultes recuerdo cuando tu y juana eran novios que fuimos ala playa de luquillo con alex recuerdo cuando los domingos ibanos ala pista de salinas juana cocinaba su arroz con pollo y esalada de codito recuerdo las veces que viernes en la noche ibanos als carreras clandestinas en ponce recuerdo como te ayudaba cuando bregabas en mechanica en la marquesina de casa de abuelo recuerdo cuando practicabas en la marquesina de casa con ayala y la p.r power recuerdo cando trabajabas en las salchichas savoy que olores pero lo mas que recuerdo es el amor que tu metenias amor de hijo ,sobrino , hermano ,los consejos que siempre me dabas y ese mismo amor yo siempre lo sentire por ti, te amare y te estanare por siempre estaras con migo donde quiera que yo este.te veo luego (cabra enferma) tio papo. juana , Alex , Glenda, Junior , Bibi, los amo muuuuucho su hermano willie..........

I can cut the grass and paint for you ok. Grandpa I am sad that I was sick and could not see you for Christmas but I did not want to get you sicker. Tata & Grandpa,
Tata I just want to say that I am sorry about Grandpa. Even though we don't see you that much its the times we do that mean alot to me. I love you very much. Grandpa to you I just want to tell you that I know your in heaven with God and that he is taking care of you now. I know your happy and healthy again and watching over us more than ever now. I will always remember you with a smile on your face and telling me you love me. You were there to hold me when I was born in the hospital and no matter how sick you were you never missed my birthday parties. A Emi (Juana) que el Señor fortalesca tu alma para poder sobre llevars la encomiendas de dirigir tu casa junto a tus hijos. Te quiero mucho en el Señor y que Nuestro Señor te continue bendiciendo.A los muchachos recuerden que son parte de esta familia Morales mantenganse en contacto y mi ahijada Glendy que es el angel de su casa que el Señor la fortalesca y la continue bendiciendo en su camino.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
