Helen Rajewski Obituary
Mrs. Ra,jewski was born in Adams, Mass., on Dec. 19, 1921, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Reczkowski) Gouda. She moved to Jewett City at an early age and graduated from Griswold High School.
She was a member of Divine Providence Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and where she was united in marriage with Charles J. Rajewski on Jan. 26, 1946. He died Jan. 22, 1995.
Mrs. Rajewski worked closely with her husband in the operation of Country Squire Homes, a construction firm. She also, with her husband, operated CR Distributors for many years where she was a certified kitchen designer. She was also a realtor for 32 years.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Rajewski, of Griswold; a daughter, Lynn Rajewski, of Stonington; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of SE CT, 175 Gallivan Lane, Uncasville, CT 06382.
There is no visitation. Services and interment, at the request of the deceased, are private.
The Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, is in charge of the arrangements.
