Hilda A. Lane

1926 - 2021

Glastonbury - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Hilda A. Lane, 94, who died Thursday, May 13, 2021. She lived in Glastonbury, Colchester, Carteret, N.J. and Hunlock Creek and Shickshinny, Pa. She was born July 6, 1926, to the late William and Anna (Davenport) Huffman in Hunlock Creek, Pa. She was married to the late Delbert Lane, from Shickshinny, Pa.

She enjoyed making quilts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed doing bead work and made fabulous wall hangings as well as knitting and crocheting beautiful sweaters, tablecloths and doilies. She liked to camp, read, do puzzles and play cards. She enjoyed going to Sunshine Park and RV Resort in Florida for the winters.

Surviving are her son, Thomas and his wife Elizabeth, Salem; her daughter, Diana Good and her husband Foster, Tucson, Ariz.; and six

grandchildren: William and his wife Michele (Lucy, Annalena, and Lincoln), Benjamin and his wife Janna (Tyler and Zayden), Richard and his wife Carrie (Scott and Emma), Jessica Novak and her husband Nathan (Ava and Evan), Stephen and his wife Jessica (Nathan and Annabelle), and Michelle Good.
