As Jason's teacher and soccer coach I found him to be a quiet and confident leader of young men. On the field, he was a force to be reckoned with for his opponents. He was a kind young man off of the field willing to do most anything to better the lives of his friends. There aren't enough superlatives to describe this young man's performance and personality both in and out of the classroom. A leader by example.

My heart is heavy with sorrow for the loss of your son Jason. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, over the years I had learned that he was a wonderful son, husband and father and successful medical writer. May you find comfort in your family and friends.
