The first time I joined the women of Second Church for bazaar workshop, it was at your house in Noank. I will always remember the beautiful quilting your mother did. She tried to teach me how to stitch pieces together but I was hopeless. So many good memories - I hope they bring peace and comfort to all of you. Shalom.

Some unique memories of mom:
- Puppy Keeshond's in the back yard.
- Road trips in the turtle top van.
- Mom digging the swimming pool with a shovel
- Constant construction projects, she was "one" with a chop saw.
- Walking & biking with mom to work at the quilt shop in the summer...she
didn't like to drive.
- Seeing her water ski
- Teaching her to snow ski, only to have her brake a foot and "walk" down the
mountain.
- Waiting for her to patiently so she could coach her math students one-on-
one at Mitchel College
- Seeing her big smile when "another" pallet of bricks was delivered...and
always ready to mix another load of cement in a bucket to landscape the
yard.
- The adventure of finding an SUV that she liked after dad passed.
- Sharing sewing techniques with her grand daughter Mariah.
- Seeing her joy and enthusiasm about taking a paddle in the kayak's with
family around mouse island.
- Playing "Coup d'Etat" with mom, dad and Monica back in high school and
later at the lake with family. Great competitive times.
