Linda Jo Klepach

Pawcatuck - Linda Jo (Janes) Klepach, 76, beloved wife of George T. Klepach, of Stillman Avenue, Pawcatuck, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with corticobasal degeneration, at Westerly Rehab Center, Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024. Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Joseph Janes Sr. She attended Stonington High School and graduated in 1965.

Linda worked as an executive inside sales representative for Kellems-Hubbell Premise Wiring, Inc. for 42 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed days by the water in the summer sun; her festive, fried chicken-filled, Christmas holiday get-togethers; going on adventures with her granddaughter; and Zumba.

In addition to her husband George, she leaves behind her two daughters, Allison Burns of Westerly, and Amanda Klepach (Thomas Rock) of Smithfield, R.I.; brother Joseph Janes Jr. (Deborah Janes) of Westerly; and two sisters, Donna Holly (Joseph Holly; deceased) of Pawcatuck and Patty Brewer (Criswell Brewer) of Louisville, Colo. Linda is also survived by her granddaughter Isabelle Klepach-Fake; nieces, Bethany Holly-Kosztala and Rosanne Janes; and nephews, Jason and Kyle Brewer.

The Klepach Family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff at Westerly Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, as well the Staff at Harmony Hospice. Linda (and George!) were treated with the most selfless, dignified and respectful care we may have hoped for.

Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce Street, Westerly.
