Lori French Obituary

Stonington - Lori Ellen Brouwer French of Stonington, passed away Tuesday Feb.18, 2025. Lori was born June 30, 1966, the daughter of Carol Collins Brouwer and the late Richard Brouwer. She is survived by her husband William French of 39 years; sons, William French and Benjamin French; her mother Carol Brouwer; sister Sherrie Stefanski; aunt Cheryl Doyle; an uncle Richard Perkins; nieces, Cassidy Stefanski and Macy McKinney, Sarah and Lilly French; and many beloved extended family and friends. She was also predeceased by her brother Bubby Brouwer.

Lori was a kind, caring person which was reflected in her job, a coach position of working with individuals with disabilities. Lori was loved and respected by those lives she had touched.

Lori's biggest passion in life was raising her boys, Ben and Will. She could always be found on the sidelines cheering the boys on at football, lacrosse and track meets.

Lori loved her pets and had many through the years. Her most recent were her two kittens, Buddy and Snickers.

In keeping with Lori's wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Loris memory to the Connecticut Humane Society, 169 Old Colchester Road, Quaker Hill Ct 06375 or to New London Food pantry, 11o Garfield Avenue, New London, Ct 06320.
