Lynn Goodspeed Obituary
Lynn was born April 6, 1972, in New London, and grew up in East Lyme. She was a proud member of the East Lyme High School, Class of 1991. Lynn dedicated her life to caring for others, working in end-of-life care, and was in the process of furthering her education at Middlesex Community College. She took great pride in her work and found true purpose in helping those in need.
Lynn was thoughtful, creative and empathetic. A devoted mother, she loved baseball and rarely missed her children's games. She was known for her compassion, strength and selfless heart.
Lynn was born to the late David and Shirley (Graves) Goodspeed. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Ellis Snyder. She is survived by her son, Casey Snyder of Waterford; and her brothers, Jim Goodspeed of Clinton, and Gregory Goodspeed of Waterford.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, with a prayer service beginning at 4 p.m.
