When someone has such an impact on you that they enter your thoughts often - even after they have been gone for some years, that is a true legacy. I miss you, Uncle Mike. Especially around this time of year and all of the tremendous memories I have of you and Aunt Marie opening your home to so many friends and family for the big July Summer bash weekend. ALWAYS epic. I really wish you both were still here and I was helping to cut potatoes for your huge pots of clam chowder and listening to your awesome stories. I love you both soooooooo much. Miss you.

My Uncle Mike leaves a legacy of just what effect a man's profound approach to life can have on others. He taught me that hard work, attention to detail and doing more for others is the best way to get the most out of every day. He certainly did. He raised an incredible family with much love under his roof. I hear his laugh around every corner and I miss him incredibly. I know you are with Aunt Marie once again, Uncle Mike, and you are in our thoughts always. Love -Norm Alger & Family

Dear Ron, Rick, Michele, David and the entire Contino Family,

We are so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad, our Uncle Mike.

The past few days, I've thought about some of the things he did (directly and indirectly)to impact our lives and those of many others he touched.

You all know he's always been more than an Uncle to Pam and I. For me, since I first moved to town, I was at your house for dinners, holiday events and family gatherings. I know I never missed one of his baked stuffed shrimp dinners either!

Pam and I met there at a 4th of July picnic. A few years later, we had our wedding there with your Dad marrying us.

There are so many who will never forget his smile, energy, or the life he brought to every room he entered.

Just knowing he's with your Mom right now gives us some consolation until we see him again.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of need.

We love you all!

I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Grandpa Contino. I will always remember him teasing me that my name was spelled wrong and that he should call me Michael instead. He was a sweetie and I know he's with Grandma now. God Bless.
