Born on July 9, 1919 in Montville, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Margarette Boynton.
On Sept. 29, 1979, she wed Alexander Falbowski. He survives her.
Mrs. Falbowski attended Culinary Arts School and worked as a cook for the Central School in Colchester and the Pines in Lebanon. She loved painting, Polka dancing and traveled extensively.
Including her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Margaret and Robert O'Brian of Windsor, Dorothy Zadroga of Cromwell, Frances Stinwinter of Oakdale, Joan and husband, Cornelius Banta, of Bozrah, Ruth Schoenlein of Michigan, and Sue and her husband, Bob Leone, of Lebanon; a sister, Jeanette and her husband, Robert Eccelston, of Montville; her stepchildren, Alex and Ellen Falbowski of Colchester, Allen Falbowski of South Windsor, Anthony Falbowski of Colchester and Dawn LeClaire of Norwich; a daughter-in-law, Stella Porter of Lebanon; 21 grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Porter; a son, Frank Porter and a step son, John Falbowski.
Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester. The funeral will gather beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by a Chapel Service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Colchester.
