Nancy Champlin Obituary
Nancy was a much-loved bus driver for Ledyard public schools for many years.
She is survived by her children Wayne Champlin and Erica Guerrera; four grandchildren; and her companion of many years, Bill Geer. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Kenneth Holmes; and her brother William Holmes.
Her family will greet relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at the funeral home, immediately followed by burial in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic.

Nancy...you are going to be missed so much...you was always there for me when I needed someone....will miss going to the bus at Gallup hill school...to share talk and have laughing moments. You was my trainer when I started 20 years ago.....R.I.P. my friend...till we meet again...

I last saw Nancy about a year ago at Walmarts. We were chatting and I soon realized she thought I was my mother who I've been told I look like when she asked me how 'Tammy' was doing. We had a good laugh over that! So sorry to hear of her passing.

I have known Nancy thru Kindergarten, Girl Scouts, and Ledyard High School. I will sadly miss our ocassional meetings around town. She always had a gentle and kind word.
