Patricia Duncan Obituary

Palm Harbor, Fla. - Patricia Ann (Faraci) Duncan, 84, of Palm Harbor, Fla. passed away suddenly Dec. 8, 2021, with her family by her side.

Patricia was born in New London to the late Marion and Louise (DuFour) Faraci and graduated from the Williams Memorial Institute in 1954 where she was known for her playfulness, and "a terrific capacity for fun and a very easy-going nature".

A long-time resident of East Lyme until retiring to Florida in 1994, she enjoyed a successful career for the Federal Government as a civil service administrator while devoting herself to raising her pride and joy, her two sons.

Patricia enjoyed time at the beach, shopping (mostly on QVC), and spending time with her family.

Her infectious smile, quick wit, and knack for speaking her mind (and following it up with telling you that it "builds character") will be remembered by all that knew her. She was always glad to help others or lend an ear to a friend in need of comfort or a good laugh.

Patricia will be missed by sons, Daniel Stellenwerf (partner Monica Lanz) and Timothy Stellenwerf (partner Joan Simoneau); three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brothers, Tommy Faraci, Joe Faraci, John Faraci; and a sister Viola (Dee) MacPherson.

There will be a private burial for the Family at Saint Mary's Cemetery in New London. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

Dan, as you said, we think to pick up the phone and call to chat with her and then realize that she is gone. I have known her since the 70s when we began working for the government. We remained friends till she left us. Having been blessed so many years being friends (a long time), I am slowly adjusting to know I cannot call or visit her anymore. May God comfort you Dan, Tim, and family as all adjust to her silence now. What a beautiful picture of her. Your character description of her shows in her smile. I will also miss her kindness.
