Peter was born Aug. 25, 1952 in New London, the son of the late Parker Clark and Mildred Morrison Clark of Waterford. He was married to Carol Silvestri Clark in Waterford on Feb. 18, 1995.
When he was just 16, he received his U.S. Coast Guard Charter Captain's License and took over his late father's party fishing boat, the Amazon. He presently was the owner of Black Hawk Enterprises and was the Captain of Black Hawk II, out of Niantic. He had also been a former owner of the El Bolero Café in Groton.
He is a member of the New London Lodge of Elks, The National Party Boat Owners Alliance, The Connecticut Charter Party Boat Association, Eastern CT Chamber of Commerce and the Mystic Chamber of Commerce.
Peter had a large and wide array of friends from all walks of life that enjoyed and appreciated his generous personality and his sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, Carol, and mother, Mildred, he is survived by a son, Parker V. Clark, and a sister, Susan Clark Levin, and her husband, Jay Levin, and their two sons, Jordan and Jared Levin.

I have great memories of Pete, the Amazon and fun on the water in New London. My memory is always with Pete and his ear-to ear, Cheshire cat smile.
Though he leaves us way too young, he has left me with a warm, easy going memory of a great guy.
My regards and sympathy to his family and all who share the sadness of Pete's passing.
God Bless Pete.

Over many years I came to know Peter very well. We enjoyed many great fishing trips together along with Jay and many of our other mutual friends. These trips and the subsequent picnics and barbaques at Marilyn's place on Niantic Bay gave us all many nostalgic memoirs that we all have cherished and will continue to do so. Peter was always the best of hosts and a fun guy to be with. He knew how to have a good time and make others enjoy themselves. Even on calamitous occaisions like the time Jay fell through Marilyn's rear porch. Thank God he only received minor injuries (sometimes our fun was a bit perilous). Along with his numerous friends and family members, I too will miss him dearly. My sincere and deepest condolences go out to all of you. May God Bless!

Dear Clark Family:
I am deeply saddened to hear of Peter's passing. I have always had the highest regard for him growing up together in New London. Peter was always kind, and could make anyone laugh with his great sense of humor and archive of jokes, but most importantly someone who was always willing to help out a friend. I will never forget the time that my cousin and I rode horses from a Waterford farm to the New London marina at 2AM to visit Peter on the Amazon. I didn’t see Peter often, but had the pleasure of seeing him at a retirement party about 3 years ago and reminiscing about the good old days. I join you and the many others who will miss him, but remain grateful still for having known him. My sincere condolences go out to you.
With warmest regards,

My sincere condolences to Peter's family. We were very good and close friends in the late 60's aand early 70's until the Navy sent my submarine to the Pacific and we lost touch. I tried to contact him on various occasions over the years but somehow we missed making contact. Even though I haven't seen him in years I will sorely miss him.
