Diane -

Although I have lived in Hawaii for close to 40 years and have had little contact with SBHS '64 I was sad to hear about Pete. At SBHS we used to joke with each other about our passions; golf and computers. Glad to hear that he was successful with his passion. I always wondered about that. I'm still trying with mine.

Dear Diane,

Thinking of you with deepest sympathy at this sad time. May your memories of Pete and the prayers of all your friends comfort you and your family.

When I emailed my brother (Pete Dempsey) with the tragic news, he responded with reminiscences of happy days caddying and golfing with Pete at Shennecossett and playing together on the SBHS golf team.

We all remember Peter so fondly and know that our words cannot possibly console you in your grief. But we are thinking of you and praying for you.

Much love, Penny

Dear Diane and Family,

We are very sad to hear of Pete's passing. He was a wonderful guy and a great conversationalist. I (Deb) will miss sharing jokes with him over Carol and Terry's house every Christmas Eve. I always looked forward to that. There are some jokes, the classics, that will be hard to tell without thinking of him and his laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Diane,

My husband Tony, daughter,Kim and I are sorry about the passing of Peter.Kim remembers Peter as the cousin who thought she looked like him at our 'Ryan' family reunions. I still have fond(?)memories of Peter and the rest of the boy cousins chasing us girls with crabs at Ocean Beach. Peter had a smile that could light up a room. God Bless you and may the love of friends and family comfort you at this time. Love, Nancy
