I reminded the first day I cut the entire lawn by myself you where so proud of me that you went out and got me a dr.pepper and you a beer and we sat a drank them as the sun sat. That is my most precious memory of you I have. Life has been tough after you passed. We all miss you and not a day goes by where I don't think about you. If this is any consolation I want to thank you for loving me. I want to thank you for rasining me. I want to thank you because I am who I am because of you. I love you and I will never forget you.

Ray was a man who loved God with all his heart, his mind and his soul. He was compassionate, he had empathy and had great love for people. He served the community with passion. He was a beam of light, shinning like a morning star to all those he encountered. Ray was humble to the core, he taught humility, faith and was steadfast to what he believed in. He would intercede for everyone the Lord would present him to do so thru prayers. He would pray for the sick and they would receive healing. He was not only a Minister but also an awesome teacher. His action spoke louder than his words. He was genuine, transparent a true man of faith. He was also a singer, a musician and a composer. He used all the gifts the Lord gave him, and would sing to the Lord with all his heart. His beautiful voice would touch the heart of those listening and would make them cry. He got to go to the Mission field as a Missionary to Central and South America. When he started his piloting lessons, he hoped someday to go to South American to bring the gospel to all those that were in need. In his preaching and teaching he gave hope and sense to the cross of Christ. He had a TV program called "Jesus Bread of Life". Had a prison Ministry and Hospital Ministry. He was a very dedicated Minister. Worked at EB for 40 years. Ray was an awesome and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was also to his family a loving son, brother and uncle . I asked the Lord for a good husband, he gave me the best he had, he gave me Ramon Luis Cordero. I will cherish the years we were together and keep them alive thru memories. Until we be together again and this time will be for Eternity! Your beloved wife.

Ramon was a man who loved boldly and served God and his community with gumption, grace and power. Knowing the amount of impact his life has had is such an encouragement and is an exciting thing to see! He personally interceded for me while I was serving in Guatemala and I will never forget how he prayed for me. Maggie you are a dear friend who I value immensely and you have my prayers during this painful and trying time. You have had such an impact on me and my walk with the Lord and have been a spiritual mother all the time that I have known you, giving me gracious and honest Biblical truth. Your life is also a great legacy and I am so thankful for it! I pray your family unites in Christ during this time and that you can find peace in celebrating all who Ray was and all he has done and that he is perfectly in the presence of the Lord worshiping unhindered and overwhelmed with unending joy. I love you Maggie!

Mi querida hermana en Cristo, Maggie, Carlos, Alexander, Janexie, y todos los familiares y amigos de nuestro hermano, Rev. Ramon,

I'm an old friend of Maggie's from work. We're very close, the kind of close you find in prayerful, loving fellowship. She and Ramon have been in the prayers of our mutual prayer circle for a long, long time. Knowing that our amazing Lord answers all prayers, our faith assures us God wanted Ramon more than we needed him, hard as that must be at the moment. And God knows our grief; even just before miraculously raising Lazarus, Christ wept for Mary and Martha's grief.

Having lost both parents myself, know, all too well, this very special loss! Understanding the hole left behind, regardless the inevitability or forewarning, pray this helps some wee bitto allow...enable...the grief! And this grief will come...and linger; indulge it because it is necessary...it is how God built us...it reflects the measure of whom you've lost...and I know that's much!

So truly sorry to hear about your husband, dad, grandfather...spiritual guide. At least now he's at peace with our Lorddefinitely keepin' y'all in my prayers!

When my mother died, even after a years-long battle with cancer, I was shattered by the loss...inconsolable...she was my mentor! I like to think that I got my character from my father, but my mind and its capacity from m'dear sainted mother!!! BUT, "If your faith assures you she's in heaven, then what are the tears all about?!?" I hold eternity dearly close...a cherished, hard-won prize...but, in the interim, that answer lies below.

SELFISH TEARS
(I Eulogize My Beloved Mother - March, 1989)

Today we cry...must admit they're selfish tears.
You see...our faith assures your journey's done.
But it's not for you we mourn, at all, my dear;
It's for those of us you've left behind...alone!!!

We share your joy...share your happiness at rest,
Your painful fears now for forever stilled.
You've fought the good fight, passed the final test,
But you've left behind a hole that can't be filled!!!

So, until we each rejoin you some someday,
And, while your memory buoys us through those years,
We'll miss you...but continue on our way,
And, from time to time, we'll cry our selfish tears!!!

Our loving condolences and prayers,

Michael & Shawna Hannan
