Richard Cavan Obituary
Richard was born Oct. 5, 1960, in Santa Ana, Calif., to Delfino Vincent Cavan and Hiroko "Sandy" Cavan Hausen in Santa Ana, Calif.
Richard grew up in Uncasville and attended Montville High School. Enlisted in the Army National Guard and served over two decades of honorable service. After retirement he worked as a government contractor.
Richard enjoyed time with his family and friends. His spare time was often spent riding his Harley Davidson, tinkering with things that needed fixing and admiring the Huachuca Mountains.
Richard is survived by wife, Christine Hennessey (separated); his three sons, Richard D. Cavan, Steven Cavan and Ian Fensand; mother Sandy Hausen; stepfather Frank Hausen; brother Robert Cavan (Suki); sister Roberta McDowell (Christopher); sister Roslyn Faulkner (David); brother Russell Cavan (Christa); granddaughter Athena Ryan; and seven nieces and nephews.
Richard was predeceased by his father Delfino Vincent Cavan.
Memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 29, 2024, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.

We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Richard. We grew up together as kids in the same neighborhood .
