Robbin McVicker Obituary
Robbin was very active in her church. She loved her family, friends, gardening, and cooking. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She opened her heart to many over the years and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Robbin is survived by her children, Wayne McVicker and his wife Beth, Michael McVicker and his wife Gretchen, Debra Bachor and her husband Eric and Jonathan McVicker and his wife Robi; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister Mary Woods and her husband Gerald.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Calvary Chapel, 236 Montauk Avenue, New London.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Robbin's memory to Calvary Chapel.

Robbin was such a gem. She was such a rock and a prayer warrior. Here, she is giving my daughter (who she prayed with me for 8 long years for) a bottle. My life has been blessed by her friendship.

I first met Robbin over27 years ago at MABC. Like many before me she took me under her wing and ultimately became my best friend. We were 2 peas in a pod. I will miss her dearly and know she is resting in the arms of Jesus.

I met Robbin at Lakes Pond Baptist Church many years ago. She was a genuine southern lady in love and gentle grace. She loved the Lord and showed His love to everyone and called almost everyone 'darlin'. She taught me how to put together a wedding cake and was so proud of my achievement. I haven't seen her in person for many years even though we weren't far apart but it was always like yesterday when we did see one another. She treated everyone like they were special but she was the special one. She once told me that all her life she wanted to be petite and I saw that she pretty much achieved that goal and she was lovely. We all loved her and will miss her but we know where it find her when we get there...she's sitting in the Lords garden with Jim.

Robbin McVicker: Lovely Lady, Faithful Friend
I enjoyed knowing Robbin for more than thirty years. Her boundless kindness and generosity were rooted in a tested faith in God and a strong love for people and family. She was a talented, knowledgeable cook and an amazing gardener, to name a couple of her creative outlets. Her keen appreciation of beauty and style graced her “joie de vivre” and thankful spirit. I will dearly miss our “Southern Connection” and am comforted to know that she looked forward to meeting her Maker and being reunited with her beloved Jim. My prayers and condolences to all in her precious family.
