Samantha Winslow Obituary
She was born March 21, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Carl and Bernice (Stephens) Stuhlemmer. She moved to Connecticut in the 1960s and was employed at Electric Boat as an outside machinist for 23 years, retiring in 1996.
She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Gunther of Norwich and Samantha Long of Dedham, Mass.; the love of her life for 28 years, Theodore Richards of Norwich; her sister, Gwynn Findlay of Indiana; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Funeral services are private.
The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with her care.

I met Sami in our Red Hat Club. She became a friend that I looked forward to seeing at our Red Hat functions. She was fun to joke with and laugh with. May your love for her keep the best memories alive. My sincerest condolences on her passing.
