Sharon Olsen Obituary
She was born on Sept. 6, 1948, the daughter of of the late Myrtle and Charles Meuse of Niantic.
She is survived by her brother, Charles Meuse of Texas; her son, Glenn Erin Olsen of Niantic; her daughter, Kristen Shane Schoonmaker of Waterford; her former husband, Glenn Ellis Olsen of Palm Coast, Fla.; nephews, nieces, and extended family.
She was a free-spirited person who led a simple, private life. Sharon loved animals and nature. She was creative, kind, and giving. She will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched.
A private memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Donations in memory of Sharon Olsen to Pierce Memorial Baptist Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, PO Box 326, Brooklyn, CT 06234, would be greatly appreciated.
