Timothy Jackson Obituary
He spent his formative years in Colchester, where he was a 1967 graduate of Bacon Academy. He went on to spend his working life at Electric Boat.
Tim was a simple man who lived life on his own terms. He was an avid reader, good-hearted and kind and he often went out of his way to help others. Tim enjoyed volunteering at Sheltering Arms in Norwich and spending time in Cherry Valley, N.Y., with cousins and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Robert Jackson. He is survived by his brother John Jackson (Joan); nieces Megan and Abby Jackson and Ashley Orefice; and nephew John Jackson. He leaves numerous cousins; and longtime friend Debbie Peterson, whose loyal friendship was a meaningful part of his life. People who knew Tim valued his honesty, his quiet kindness, and how he treated others.
A private service will be held in his memory.

My condolence's to family and friends on "our" loss of a better than average man. I met him thru work (EB) and would have coffee/lunch breaks with him and a fella George K in the big Machine shop. He was always up for a laugh, and he would like to call me "you rake". Too funny! We would send each other Xmas cards until only a few years ago. Very sad on his passing, a genuine good lad.
