Timothy Wyatt Obituary
Tim was born to Hugh and Phyllis (Tate) Wyatt and grew up on the Connecticut shoreline and in the woods of Waterford. As a youngster, he spent an enormous amount of time in the water, like his mother. As a young adult, he became a member of Ironworkers Union Local 15, like his father.
He shared his love of the water with his children and could often be seen on one of his many boats in the Niantic River, Long Island Sound or Watch Hill. Tim cheered on his kids at many swim meets, Little League and softball games.
Tim is survived by his mother and his children, Tim Wyatt Jr., Christine Wyatt and Eddie Wyatt; and former wife, Leanne Wyatt. He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters, Betsy (Mark) Gelinas, Susan Starks, Cathy Jo (Barry) Cousineau, Tom (Pauline) Wyatt, Pam (Ray) Stenson and Alan (Pam) Wyatt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
There are no calling hours. A grave side service will be held at noon, Friday, March 3, at St. Mary's Cemetery on Jefferson Avenue, New London.
Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

To all the Wyatt family, please except my condolences. I am so very sorry to hear about Tim. I knew him and his family very well while we were in high school. I have a lot of memories from those years. He was always a nice guy who looked after his friends. You could always count on him if you needed any kind of help. One of the many memories I have of Tim was how strong he was. He was building a rock wall which a lot of home owners have in CT. But what amazed me was how easy he made it look. He would lift those rocks like they were nothing. Lol he was a very nice person and I know he will be missed dearly. Kelley Shea
