Victoria Duplice Obituary
She was born Oct. 18, 1925, in New London, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna Marie (Fiore) Duplice. Vicky retired from Northeast Utilities after 47 years as an administrative assistant.
A parishioner of St. Joseph Church, she was a member of the Dante Alighieri Society and she enjoyed hosting her family and friends for her "pizza parties".
She is survived by her a brother, John Duplice and his wife, Marie, of Palm Bay, Fla.; two sisters, Theresa Gloria Givens of Marietta, Ga. and Patricia Marie Duplice of New London; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Alphonso Duplice.
Visitation will be held from 9:15 to 10: 15 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Jefferson Avenue, New London.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Center for Hospice Care Southeastern Connecticut, 227 Dunham St., Norwich, CT 06360.

Gosh -worked with Vicky at NE utilities even prior named Power Co. ultra admired! Myself, Vicky and Kay Pendleton took a trip to a Dude Ranch in upstate NY late 1950´s. We had a great time. Such good memories. Decided to seek Vicky out, sorry missed her services. Haven´t lived in CT since 1970s. God only takes the best & Vicky was one for sure. God Bless. My Mom, Dad were at Neilan- Fred & Gladys Nelson.
