Mrs. Scarpa was a great lady who I came to know. I came to know her during a construction project I was in charge of in front of her house. She was such a joy to talk to that my co-workers would joke about me bringing her trash cans up to the road for her. To her family, I am so sore for your loss and will keep your family in my prayers.

Mark and Family -
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother.
Losing a parent is so difficult. Remember the good times you had with her and know that this is the natural order of life and unfortunately an event we can not escape.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. You'll be in my thoughts.

Mrs. Scarpa was one-of-a-kind. Her humor, toughness and mental sharpness will be remembered by all who encountered her. Mrs. Scarpa was a shining example of women from the greatest generation who strengthened the fabric of our country by holding down the fort, raising good kids and upholding the values that made this country great. Losing people of that era, like Mrs. Scarpa, leaves a hole that cannot be filled - she will be missed in many ways. The Joseph Miceli family extends its greatest sympathy to the Scarpa family.
