Wayne Scott Obituary
He graduated from Valley Regional High School and shortly after, started working at Pfizer, Inc, where he spent his entire career. He retired in 2002 after over 35 years of dedicated service.
Wayne married the love of his life, Carolyn Moon, in New London Dec. 2, 1967. Their 57 years of marriage was a testament to enduring love.
Besides his wife Carolyn, he is survived by a son, Eric Scott and his wife Michelle of Groton; a brother, John Scott, and wife Brenda of New Hampshire; sister Rosanne Pappas and husband Steve of Roanoke, Va.; and his granddaughter Kendall Fath and husband Xavier of Westerly, R.I.; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Scott.
Wayne was a caring, devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. Wayne's warm spirit and sense of humor had a lasting impression to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He found comfort and peace in his faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved studying the Bible and had a passion for sharing this message with others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and were impacted by his wonderful life of caring.

WAYNE WAS ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS IN HIGH SCHOOL. WE WERE ON THE TRACT TEAM AT V.R.H.S. I DON'T KNOW WHY I ALWAYS THINK OF HIM AS MY BEST FRIEND. I ONLY WENT TO HIS HOUSE TWICE, AND HE NEVER CAME TO MINE, BUT WE WERE CLOSE. I MET HIM AGAIN YEARS LATER WORKING AT PFIZER. HE ASKED ME TO SEE HIS SON, WHO WAS THROWING THE JAVELIN IN HIGH SCHOOL, TO WATCH HIS FORM. I STILL REMEMBER THAT ONE SPECIAL DAY. i THOUGHT HE HAD MOVED OUT OF STATE WHEN HE RETIRED, I NEVER THOUGHT HE WAS STILL SO CLOSE. I WOULD HAVE ENJOYED SEEING HIM AGAIN. WE , AS CLASSMATES ARE ALL GETTING OLDER AND IT'S VERY SAD WHEN WE LOOSE ANOTHER. I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, AND MINE. QUENTIN
