William Stoner Obituary

Old Saybrook - William J. Stoner Jr., 54, of Old Saybrook passed away on Sept 7, 2023, in Waterford. William was born in Altoona, Pa., to Vera and William Stoner Sept. 19, 1968.

He was a graduate of Old Saybrook High School, Class of 1987. He was a chef for many restaurants along the shore then, worked as manager of Molding Technologies.

William is survived by his parents, Vera and William Stoner Sr.; brother Michael T. Stoner and his wife Lisa; niece Hannah L. Stoner; and great-niece Briella.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, at Riverside Cemetery in Old Saybrook for the public. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.swanfuneralhomeoldsaybrook.com for the Stoner family.
