It's one year and a day after Antonio's passing. He was the love of my life. I dream about him constantly. We had the best of each other and weathered the worst as well. Our divorce was so hard, as it should have been. I've wished so many times it could have been different, but it just couldn't be. To have him come to me at the end and express his trust in me was such a blessing. He was such a beautiful, talented, graceful, steadfast man. I will carry on his legacy to the best of my ability. I've never stopped loving him and that's how it should be. There's really only one that you really never get over and for me, it was him.

This is an addition to my first entry here. Antonio was a very good golfer. I will also always remember the many trips we took together and the beautiful golf courses we visited. Antonio taught me to play golf. Every time I am on a golf course or drive by one, I will think of you and miss you. Rest in peace.

All my best wishes and thoughts go out to the people who knew, loved and relied on Antonio. I feel so genuinely blessed to have known him and called him family. I will never forget his stories and how warmly he welcomed me into his world when I was around. Our world is not the same without you in it, Antonio. Thank you for your light. You are missed.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I never met Antonio, we conducted business via phone and email. He just had a certain flair and way of expressing himself that made me smile. He will be missed.

I can't grasp that Antonio is no longer with us. He was so dynamic, a presence bigger than life, always with a whoop and a holler at things if they didn't go right because he knew they would. The world is poorer without Antonio's optimism, his energy, his smile, his eloquent self. I know how much trust and admiration Antonio held for son Marcos who will carry on with courage just as his dad expected he would. My sympathies with all Antonio's family, for Cathy and Karen who have been so steadfast and carng. Antonio leaves behind many examples to give the rest of us inspiration to do our best as did he.

Antonio, I just plain miss your energy. Although apart I would constantly think things like, "I wonder if he is seeing this beautiful sunset...I wonder what he thinks of the Bradley fight." This is an excerpt of something I posted on Facebook last night. It is a tribute to my forever friend and ex-husband who has changed my life forever. "Enjoying a memorial toast tonight for Antonio. So glad we were able to remember the good things we shared - like SPORTS - before he passed. Our idea of a Friday night was a martini, HBO boxing and Scrabble. Here's to you Mr. Santillan. I will miss our texts during the Super Bowl." I will miss so many things.

As Antonio lived his life with full radiance and with all his heart, so will his star shine down over all he loved with that same heartfelt radiance, caring, and great spirit. We will certainly not leave him behind. We will instead give him his very own beautiful room in our hearts and take him with us wherever we go on our pathways. He was bigger than life always, and he will continue be a comfort and a wonderful strength accompanies us wherever we go.

My heart goes out to this great mans family and close friends. Antonio had it all. And he loved to show it off! LOL. I will truly miss him.
