Catherine Patricia Dudley

Catherine Patricia Dudley, 83 of Palm Desert, California passed away on February 13, 2014. She was born January 25, 1931 to Thomas and Madeline Dalton in Yonkers, New York. She married Roger Russell Dudley on June 14, 1952. Catherine was a registered nurse for five years before she dedicated herself to raising her five children. She was a member of the Philharmonic, the Newcomers Club, an avid tennis player at the Huntington Harbour Beach and Tennis Club, and a nine hole golfer at the Oasis Country Club in Palm Desert, California. Catherine was in her element when she was cooking and entertaining. She is survived by her son Craig Dudley of Las Vegas, Nev; daughters; Patricia Dudley of Palm Desert, Calif.; Deidre Froehlich of Wappingers Falls, NY; and Pam Westin of Winnetka, Ill; grandchildren; Colin, Russell, Courtney, Abby, Nicole and Paige. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger of 38 years, son Roger Dudley Jr., and her companion Marvin Loeb. Memorial Mass Service will be held Friday, March 14, 10:00 a.m at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 47-225 Washington St., La Quinta, California. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
