Missing Clonard so very often. She is not forgotten, that's for sure. The girls and I talk about her, remembering things we did. I use her beautiful quilted placemats, the last thing she made for me..and they are so "Clonard"... Cahuilla Hills is not the same without you. love, Ann

Clonard and Bruce were such inspirational people and were great friends of my cousin Lynnette and Ron Allum. I live in England and will never forget the trips with my cousins to see their sculpture and paintings in their amazing Palm Desert studio in the 80's Bruce, my heart goes out to you for losing your lovely wife so prematurely. I hope to be in California next April 2018 and will try and find you. Please do contact me if you see this. My email is [email protected].

Dear Bruce,
So many years have passed since we met in Palm Desert, through mutual friends in Florence, Italy. Clonard was a lovely lady and devoted artist and I am sorry not to have gotten to know her better. I am so sorry for your loss, and will keep all in my prayers.

I feel so blessed that I got to know Clonard. She helped me enjoy the desert after moving here. I'll always remember our lunches and laughing the whole time. She was humble even though she was a well known artist. I'm sure she is painting a masterpiece in heaven.
Miss you.

I was blessed to have Clonard a part of my life as well as my daughter and granddaughter's lives. She was a dear, loving friend and neighbor since 1973 when she and Bruce moved to Cahuilla Hills. I have so many memories of great times and always Christmas morning, throughout the years. Clonard was so talented and had a huge zest for life, travel and trying new artistic endeavours. Her art was full of color, symbolic and out of the box and it just flowed out of her. You left us too soon, Clonard. I know you're up these with kitty cats and paints and loads of quilting fabric...I miss you terribly.

Clonard will be missed. There those of us remember her for her contributions to the Coachella Valley Watercolor Society and their outdoor painters, the Field Mice
