Constance Bridges Obituary

Constance Bridges

Palm Springs - Constance Lillie Bridges (Connie) was born November 5, 1950 in Newark, New Jersey to Richard Turner Bridges and Gladys Turner. She was raised by Constance Gray Bridges Tucker, and Milwood Inge Scott Tucker, her aunt and uncle. She attended Rahway High School and graduated in 1968. After graduation, Connie attended the Katharine Gibbs School where she finished with honors. She began her career at Phillips Petroleum then in 1978, Connie moved to Buffalo, New York with her partner, Alva Johnson where she became a licensed realtor with ReMax. In 2005, she moved to Palm Springs, where she continued her career as a realtor with Keller Williams.

Connie was passionate about her relationships with friends, family and clients. She took pride in being reliable, honest and one that could always be counted on whenever she was needed.

Connie leaves to celebrate her life four sisters: Juanita Bridges, Marion Bridges, Constance Dalmau, and Joyce Tucker; a host of nieces and nephews who were her pride and joy along with a multitude of friends! She will be missed. May the creator bless and keep her. May she rest in power and in peace.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 11th at 11am at the Wiefels Palm Springs Chapel 690 South Vella Road, Palm Springs, California 92264.

I have been trying to get in touch with Connie to thank her for all she did for my friend Bill. She was our realtor and was so accommodating and patient. She was a wonderful person and went above and beyond to help us with every aspect of Bill´s relocation. I am saddened by her passing. She was a sunbeam of joy.

Connie, I think of you often and how our friendship began. I miss our chats and all the comfort and wisdom you gave me during my difficult time. Now you have the most precious person in my life with you. My beautiful Mama Connie❤ I know you two will be talking up a storm....of how I met you , how we had connections to Newark and Rahway, and how I told you my Mom's name was Connie. Two beautiful souls together. I miss you both. ❤❤.

I just now learned of Connie's passing. Sad beyond belief. She knocked on my door one day. Introduced herself as a realtor. We began chatting , come to find out we lived a town apart from each other in New Jersey. The rest was history. What a beautiful soul, caring for others unconditionally. RIP my beautiful friend.
Until we meet again. ♥

Connie had the gift of being an encourager without giving advice.
