As people of faith, we believe that there is a time for everything:
A time to be born, and a time to die
A time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh
A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
For Hayden, his time was amazing.
He lived a lifetime of love, and support, and care.
He never met a stranger.
He knew a gentle touch, a warm environment, and place of great knowledge.
He was a person of strength and determination.
Hayden lived 4 days.
But, Hayden didn’t ONLY live four day, he LIVED for four days.
And in those 4 days, he was able to gather his family for prayer and support.
He touched the lives of many people in a very small yet quite profound way.
He afforded people a moment to stop their own busy-ness, their own time, to be with Rebecca and Sean.
It is hard for us to understand why some people live shorter and others live longer lives. It is even more difficult to comprehend how such a tiny, wonderful child could be with us for such a short period of time.
Time alone will dull the pain of his loss.
Time will afford us all some much needed healing.
We believe that there is a time for everything: A time to weep, and a time to laugh. A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
In this time of sadness and pain, remember Hayden and the love he gave in the short time he lived.
