I have a very interesting piece of your work hanging just above me. Im embarrassed, although excited to just be learning about your story and your history. I grew up in the 60 and 70 with my parents also very intrigued with the amazing upcoming flood of beautiful inspirational people. Am so excited to now be discovering your work. Thank you for your inspiration and gifts you have left. Karen

I remember growing up as a little boy in an urban area of MD in the early 70s. My mother had the Spanish Dancer painting hung up above the fireplace in the cozy den part of our house. I remember always staring at this painting, the colors were so vivid and it was such a beautiful painting, generally. Etched in my mind! Thank you Lee for the wonderful esthetic. You will be missed!

I grew up seeing Mr. Burr's paintings all throughout the 1970s as a kid on my uncle's walls, who lived in Palm Desert. I then was given one (Spanish Flamenco Dancer) by my uncle in the 1990s just for commenting how much I liked it. It now hangs on my wall for my kids and others to see. His style possesses a uniqueness reminiscent of my childhood days spent at my uncle's, who is recently deceased. I now find myself browsing the internet in search Mr. Burr's other paintings, which possess that same quality of the one I have, which takes me back to my beloved, departed uncle. Lee Burr instills warm wonderful memories with his style of paintings which I easily recognize, thanks to my uncle

Blessings to you and your family. Many thanks for the beautiful painting that hung in my childhood bedroom, Girl With A Flute, which encouraged me to paint as an adult.
